The VGMA “New Artist Of The Year” Fameye” is out with 2 peculiar reasons why he has stopped going to church. This has been circulating on the social media as he said it and push it on social media.
Speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Atuu show on UTV, Fameye stated that he used to attend church a lot until his hairstyle was criticized by some women in the church. Peoples in the church see me like a devil because of the style of my hair . so I thought its better for me to stop going to church and pray at home.
I don’t go to church but I pray a lot..I stopped going to church after my hairstyle was constantly criticized…some women in the church always complained about my hairstyle and the way I wear earrings..I got tired of the criticisms so I stopped attending church.” He stated.
Abeiku Santana however encouraged him to come and join him at his church because nobody cares about how one dresses or looks
Meanwhile Fameye won the award for Best New Artiste of the year at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and he sets to unlock of of his popular project “GREATER THAN” this month.
