There are over 500 senior high schools in Ghana. There are a lot of competition among the secondary schools in the country as to which secondary school have produced great personalities as well as celebrities. Nowadays if the school you attended had produced many great people or imminet persons you would automatically feel good and be happy about such accomplishment of your school. It can even motivate you to become one of them in the future. Today, i shall present to you 12 kumahwood Stars and the secondary schools they attended in Ghana.
1.Yaa Jackson
She who is famously known as Yaa Jackson was born on October 18th 2000. She is 20 years old.Yaa Jackson is a Ghanaian Kumawood actress and singer who began acting at the age of 9.Yaa is a daughter of a popular Kumawood movie director Jackson K Bentum. She completed her senior high school education in 2019 at the Presbyterian Girls Senior High School, Kumasi.
2.Emelia Brobbey
She was born and grew up in Akyem Swedru in the Eastern region of Ghana. She completed Akyem Swedru Secondary School and continued to Presbyterian Teacher’s Training College.She won the Best Indigenous Actress of the Year and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress of the Year at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2016. She won Best Gallywood Actress and Best Philanthropist at the 3G Awards in New York in 2018. She was born on January 6, 1982. Which means she is 38 years old. After completing Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’. Emelia was posted to teach at Obuasi were she taught Agric Science. Emelia Brobbey – Akyem Swedru High SchoolShe is an award-winning actress, TV host and singer. She is well-known for playing roles in movies like ‘Asantewaa’, ‘Adofoasa’, ‘Kae’ and ‘Amakye and Dede’.She is a trained teacher and a graduate of GIMPA.
3. Portia Asare Boateng
Portial who is famoisly known as Portial Asare is one of the successful women in the Ghana Movie Industry specifically the Kumawood industry. Although Portia has bring inactive in the movie industry for quite a while now doesn’t means she is not one of the best actresses in the Kumawood movie industry. She is an amazing woman and a wife and a mother as well. She attended Anglican senior High school
4.Tracy Boakye
Tracy Boakye is a celebrated actress, movie producer and a budding musician.Her film production house, Shakira Movie Productions, has produced over 12 movies in Ghana. She recently gave birth to a baby girl. She attended Angel Senior High School in Kumasi but dropped out in 2nd year after realizing school wasn’t her calling.

She is one of the beautiful and finest kumahwood actress, she normally play romantic roles in Kumawood movies.She has acted in over 50 movies and was involved in a controversy where it was alleged she snatched colleague actress, Emelia Brobbey’s husband from her.She revealed on a popular TV program that she attended Adventist Senior High Schoo ADASS in Ashanti Region.
8.The Late Bishop Nyarko
He was one of the finest and comic actor in Ghana. The Award-winning actor Bernard Nyarko was born and raised in Kumasi and had most of his life enjoyment in Kumasi before his demise. During his prime, the on-screen character who was mainstream for the jobs he, for the most part, played in his films He attended Tweneboa Kodua Senior High School in Kumawu for 5 years and later completed his 6th form education at Osei Kyeretwie School (OKESS) in Kumasi.
9. Salinko
He is also one of the famous comic actor in Ghana.He attended Kings International School for his basic education and Kumasi High School and Faith Assemblies of God Senior High School.He stood as Parliamentary Candidate on PPP’s ticket in the 2016 general elections in Ghana.
10. Bill Asamoah
Bill is one of the best actors in Ghana. The award winning actor has won many accolates to his name. He has starred in over 200 movies in Ghana. He is an old boy of Asanteman Senior High School in Kumasi and completed in 1994. He later furthered his education at Christian Service University College in Kumasi.
12. Vivian Jil Lawrence
Vivian Jill is a pretty Kumasi-based actress who has starred in many movies. The actress born in Nigeria attended Nungua Senior High School in Accra and completed at Adventist Day Secondary in Kumasi. She was born on is 11th September 1983 to a Scottish father and a Ghanaian mother. She is known for movies such as Sekina, Adom, Asew Red Card, Kayayo, Rebecca, Daakyee Asem and many others. Vivian Jil is currently 37 years old. Vivian is one of the richest actresses in Ghana and a philanthropist too. She’s currently single and has a son

she is one of the beautiful and finest Kumawood actress. Mackbrown has starred in over 400 movies in Ghana and Africa as whole. Nana Ama Mcbrown had her secondary school education at prince of peace senior high school
