Seasoned Ghanaian broadcaster, Captain Smart has sung the praises of budding rapper, Kwesi Korang. After Kwesi Korang performed his ‘Letter To My MP’ song at the studio of Angel FM in Accra, Captain Smart, who was impressed together with his performance gave him huge applause. While clapping his hands for the young rapper, the Angel FM presenter exclaimed, “Wow! Wow!! Wow!!!…OMG!!!” He gave him a replacement name because the ‘Bono Borger’ during a video sighted by HitzNationGh.Com.
“I love your style…you are unique and you are doing not do what most are doing,” he stated. Captain Smart added: “Imitation may be a limitation, so don’t copy anyone’s style…try to be you usually .” When asked the amount of years he has been singing, Kwesi Korang stated he has been singing for about four (4) years now. Following his answer, Captain Smart averred this is often the time for him to shine. He disclosed his readiness to support the music career of the young chap. Kwesi Korang further revealed how he gets the inspiration to write down songs that impacts society. He indicated that he’s always wanting to tackle societal issues in his songs. Kwesi Korang bemoaned medical negligence in Ghana in his latest song titled ‘Patient Lives Matter’ which was released a couple of days ago.
