There are plenty of Ghanaian artistes who are very rich but don’t brag about it as Shatta Wale often does. The musicians we are talking about have a fat bank account , and own properties which include beautiful mansions, a fleet of cars, and investment packages.
In the wake of Shatta Wale’s incessant attacks on his colleagues by calling them paupers and inflating his own shoulders of pride thanks to his wealth, we present to you five other Ghanaian artistes who are very rich but hardly make any whimper about it.
1. Criss Waddle
Criss Waddle is one of the few richest Ghanaian artistes in our current dispensation. At just a relatively young age of 25-years, the rapper has amassed substantial wealth for himself judging from his cars, mansions and thus the cash smiling in his bank account . With reference to his cars, he features a 2015 Range Rover Sport, a Dodge Magnum and Chevrolet Camaro plus other ‘beast’ cars. The rapper’s wealth often raise eyebrows considering the actual fact that he’s not active within the music industry.
He once took to Facebook to reveal that his poverty-stricken background inspired his success today. He famously narrated during a post thus, ‘At the age of 6, at about 1:30 am Thursday dawn my mum and pop had a big fight which ends up in their divorce, my dad kicked my mum which i out of his house because his second wife from Germany had come for a visit, We visited sleep during a wooden structure owned by a lady who used to come to our family house to sell tomatoes, pepper, onions, etc to us, guess what, my first experience about “no condition is permanent was at age 6 which is why I plan to be nice and good to everyone I meet in life because the same lady who used to have this Apampam store became our landlady overnight! Mind you, within the top , my father moved to live with me and my mum in an apartment I own, he lost everything to the same woman he sacked us for #AmGCEO.’
Although Criss Waddle has openly not declared his net worth, it’s believed he has many dollars in his account.
2. D-Black
The rapper is known for his sense of entrepreneurship. He features a proud owner of Club Onyx a very beautiful club located in Accra. He features a record label that’s nurturing emerging acts. He features a fleet of cars and a couple of of lovely houses. He also features a clothing line. There has been no instance when D-Black has taken to social media to brag about his wealth.
3. Nhyiraba Kojo
Nhyiraba Kojo isn’t doing well musically but when it involves his personal success, he’s doing alright . Nhyiraba Kojo is one of the richest artistes in Ghana but decides to require care of a coffee profile. He’s the owner of a very big club situated in Tema. He also owns a ten bedroom house in conjunction with other properties. The hiplife artiste, born Rashid Joseph, is best remembered for his 2011 hit song with Dr. Cryme titled rotate And Go Down. Although his net worth is unknown, it’s believed to be within the region of $2M.
4. Sarkodie
Forbes estimated Sarkodie net worth 2020 to be at $10 million. In 2017, he was ranked the 9th wealthiest artiste on the continent with a net worth of $7.5 million US dollars. This invariably makes Sarkodie the richest artistes in Ghana. Moreover, Forbes in 2019 listed him together of the richest musicians in Africa, in conjunction with other great African musicians like Akon from Senegal, Davido from Nigeria, Oliver Mutukudzi from Zimbabwe, Hugh Masekela of South Africa , and Black Coffee from South Africa among other top musicians.
5. Medikal
At a young age of 27-years Medikal is one of the richest young men in Ghana. The AMG AMG subscriber is reportedly worth between $100,000 to $1 million.
