The trending Ghanaian artist , almost on all platforms after been crownde by VGMA as the Artist of the year just descend on Ghanaian on an interview after people claimed he dont deserved what he grabbed at the VGMA day for this year.
After bagging the award at the just ended VGMAs, fans thought Kuami Eugene accomplished more in music last year than he did this year. They claimed he put out more songs last year and his energy in the industry was stronger, compared to this year.
Speaking on the Issue, the “open gate” hit singer called Ghanaians “hypocrites” for not speaking up when the felt he deserved the award last year.
He said;
“So they watched the last year VGMA go away knowing I deserved it and nobody talked about it? Wow, you see how human beings are? Everybody stood mute and couldn’t have said this thing was for Kuami Eugene? Nobody said it. Now I have it and they are saying it should’ve been last year? That’s Hypocrisy – kuami Eugene Said.”
